Oddly enough I don’t hate marner there.

Brown has played well and deserves more minutes. Help that line on the defensive side.

Marner is usually playing against other 4th liners and creates a lot of chances. Seems to have chemistry with Martin too.

He still gets his pp time too, and if the leafs need a goal like sat night against Ottawa he gets bumped up.

Nylander they can control due to RFA status.. McDonagh will be a UFA in 2019 and he will get paid well too.

and by feeling sorry for himself when being criticized for falling asleep at the beginning of games

and by feeling sorry for himself because almost everyone in Toronto liked James Reimer better because Reimer wasn't a douche

and because he had been a 1st round pick ... and because he believed he was great based on playing behind the Kings defence occasionally in a back-up role he thought he just had to show up... which he proved on occasion (two or three games at a time) that he could play... that he figured he could just sit back and sit on his laurels thereafter..... leaning on his stellar personality, good looks, knowledge of international political figures and doesn't everyone remember he was a 1st round pick?
