I refuse to say specifically what should be done with the lines to spark some offense because I don't know. But what I do is is something has to be done besides giving Marner seven minutes a game. All 4 lines are worse than stagnant, so poops gotta change, but Babs just pretends it's all hunky(frank)ingdory and that's what irritating.

I’d like to see Marner Matthews Nylander play more, dermott get what he’s earned.

The buffer in the standings is just letting Babcock drill into these guys this style of play.

I think we see much different play if we’re a point in the playoffs.

I’m not too concerned still not scared of anyone in the east and take us best out of 7

I remember at the beginning at the season and at times last year Babs would put Marner and Matthews together for a couple shifts and they always dominated. It's hard to warrant Marner getting a promotion considering his poor play, but it could spark something.
We'll make the playoffs and this slump will pass. But we're (frank)ed if we play Tampa for sure. Boston is beatable if they cool off. If they stay hot the rest of the way, kiss that series goodbye in 5.

This is the part I'm _hoping_ is really happening. You need to be able to play and adapt to multiple styles of play. Playing strong team D is the hardest thing (and most boring) to teach and enforce, but it's what you need to win in the playoffs. Give up the first goal? Turn it up. Be the offensive firewagon team that can came back and win. Get a lead and shut it down.

But if that was actually true, the team would open up more when behind, wouldn't they?

I guess we'll see in the third.

Only problem is that's expected. That's why you need vets to stay stable and keep them above water. Our vets are just as horrible. Komo/Kadri/JVR have been invisible. Even Marleau hasn't been great.
