i just pray that hes doesnt, or ever will, have kids.

the whole "im right, youre wrong, and ill argue with everyone over everything" act is not just annoying but its not fair that we should be burdened with giving him the attention and "power" he so desperately lacks irl.

My God, I actually just read the whole thread.

What a total disaster.

Leave it to Leafs fans to run Mike Babcock out of town.

What an embarrassing example of Leafs fans this has been.

Sens only 18 shots

Happy with the win last night. I was pretty upset after the 2nd period.

Hopefully this is the start of some better hockey.

Nice to see AM 34 and little bro Mitch with goals.

Dermott making it impossible for him to come out even with rielly and z back.

Carrick was very good last night. Gards looked very good as well, probably his best game all year (coincidence he was with hainsey ?)

I checked out after 3-1. Can't take the frustration anymore... guess I should have stayed on the band wagon...

Nice to see them break out a bit. I guess when the boys are not playing Babcock's trap system they can actually score, go figure... to me the subpar play of late has more to do with the system. Babcock needs to let these boys go. Frank the trap, go with your strength and score your way to success... they will learn to defend as they gain experience... beside, we have Gardiner in the back end...

After the second, I took the youngest daughter and dog over to a neighbour's house.

Kid watched the game inside while we stood in front of bonfire in backyard.

The kid ran out and updated us after every goal. It was actually a very satisfying way to experience the game.

Can we get guys at actually know who the players are and knows when they're on the ice. (frank) me. gardiner made 3 plays and dummy kept saying it was Borgman. They don't know why the whistle goes, they don't know who's on the ice. So (frank)ing brutal.

Could hear him orgasm while talking about borbeiwski.

We all do man, we all do.

If he's gone was gonna take tons of bad penalties and wipe out the goalie? He's a defensive dmam who has worst d stats by a mile and a pk specialist who make the penalty kill worse.

Can't afford to take him out.

Funny you say I said that but don't have the actual quotes. Probably because, as usual, you take things out of context and don't quote them properly to suit your petty motives of painting a false picture.

I never said anything negative about Dermott other than his lack of experience in the NHL and that he needs to prove himself capable of playing in the NHL for more than a handful of games before he can replace a guy like Gardiner. The average NHL height and weight, by the way, is 6'1", 200.7lbs. Dermott is 5'11", 196lbs. So factually speaking, he's below average.

As for Vatanen, he's a RHD who has played 300 games in the NHL and has proven he can play well. That, coupled with the fact that it would have moved Bozak out of town as well as replaced Polak in the lineup, it would have been a good move to make considering what the team needs to improve upon, which is adding more top-4 D and subtracting Bozak and Polak.

I think they have to play the run and gun style.

Maybe they're still too young to be expected to attempt to play a tighter defensive game - if that makes sense.

Let them have at it for a couple years and work on the defensive game. Hopefully within 2-3 years they have the complete game figured out.

- Kinger34

That's exactly what's happening! ..babs is trying to make this team play responsible defense. .their not quite built what way..and are paying for it! ..if he released the horses. .so to speak. .then we'd see the goals start going in more!..that's why you see he tries to put the grinders and supposedly the defensive guys with the talented goal scorers. .personally I think (obviously?) Lol.. their two forwards and two dman (defencivly minded).. away from becoming a true contender ..I think that you'll start to see the team get back to speed and skill soon..release the horses!

Maybe even Rielly and Dermott together.

Rielly-Dermott
Gardiner-Hainsey
Borgman-Zaitsev
Carrick

That's not a bad looking d group at all.
