I've not watched a lot of the Marlies games. What's his style like? It's difficult to give these kids a shot if they don't slot in . . like would you sit or demote JVR to give him a chance? Komo? Just to contextualize my thinking, I find what they've done with Leivo - putting him on the 4th - is pretty unfair to his style of game. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Leivo booster, I haven't seen enough from him one way or the other, but I think if you're going to bring up a kid, give them an opportunity that suits their style.

It's just unfortunate, that in today's society, everyone has a say.

He may have the raw talent, although a different kind of player.

I think eventually he is going to be more like a Bergeron, with more offense.

It would be tough to expect more than that. That is pretty much the ultimate combination for a #1C.

Agree there but still not sure he is 100%. Upper body injury. Thinking light concussion which might explain it and the peripheral hanging about too.

You just don't know with concussions. The more we learn about them and hear about it, the more scary it becomes.

I try to look at the bright side, players like Crosby and Bergeron overcame some serious issues to have hall of fame careers.

The best thing about the whole Leafs situation right now is that they have no horrible contracts. Marleau is questionable, but it isn't long term enough to be crippling.

This is the guy I want to see on the Leafs. From a couple Marlies games, and highlights he looks like the most talented forward on the farm, and he seems to be getting better.

well can't really expect much from Hyman ... just ask UG... "Hyman is not and can't every be good... he's not "G E N E R A T I O N A L"...

I'm not even sure why they keep crap like Rielly or Kadri... those crap players drafted after the top 3... you know crap guys like Marner, Nylander...

can't build a winner with those kind of players
