I truly believe Babcock sucked the skill right out of the team, play to their strengths like the Penguins have done the last few years. - LeafMan
Nah.
Sophomore slump, the league giving them zero room this year, open season on our youth vs. getting the rookie free pass treatment.

Bozak, Marner, and Brown: 2 of 3 I wouldn't really consider solid shutdown options. - gravyface
Hope everyone realizes that brown scored two games in a row and that compounded with his tenacious forechecking hound dog, and hymans play along with Cyborgs hits all good stuff. More than a good pro if you ask me |

I think they have to play the run and gun style.
Maybe they're still too young to be expected to attempt to play a tighter defensive game - if that makes sense.
Let them have at it for a couple years and work on the defensive game. Hopefully within 2-3 years they have the complete game figured out.

Brown is a great young player. Love his contract too.
Hyman is growing on me this year, which is a good thing, cause I'm pretty sure he's here to stay. |

Keep your stick to yourself there Brassard. Don't like that; smash it off the bar behind Andersen, chuck it over your shoulder in the crease. |

Maybe just maybe just maybe Babcock has to let them play a little more wide open I mean mariners goal he walked right in and sens were taken off guard. Let’s see if leafs can string a few games together and gain steam-confidence the |

Kay. So I'd propose we move forward. Preferably without Burn, UG, Aetherial, Aardvark and Fruitcakenipple.
It's not that you don't have anything to say, you do. It's just that it's tiring, to the point of not really having much to say.
So i propose, please, guys, just let us talk without you. Please just give us a break. If you do that, and allow soe positivity around the team, I cannot thank you enough.
I know you still want Babcock out, but he's bought himself a few more minutes. |

Don't think Babs does. We scored a bit too much for him.. |

So we get rid of JVR, Bozak, kommie and play our young exciting talent. Works for me. |
