just an observation, a better team and its a bigger issue. Being the best 5vs5 is great and I am optimistic with the Flyers but the last 3 games Manning continues to misread the play, a weak team covered that today, My opinion just like you can have yours about goats.

I'm sure on the scapegoating part simply because you can make the same comment about many of the players on the team with some exceptions. It's just lazy analysis. Manning is what he is which is a 3rd pair depth defenseman. To expect a perfect game is unrealistic but if a player of his level comes out unscathed and isn't a liability on the ice then he is doing his job relative to his ability as a player.

I haven't been as active on here so I'm curious has anyone else noticed the way the Flyers are playing with Neuvirth in net versus Elliot? His unreal game against the Leafs and his stellar performance against the Sabres - I've noticed the Flyers play a much more confident game with him behind them.
