How is Hoffman's contract an issue? A little over $5M for a legit top 6 winger. Guys does 20 goals easy on a crap team. He'd more than likely be a consistent 30G man on a good team with quality linemates. That's not worth under $6M in today's NHL? I think that's a steal. Call me a homer if you want, but compare his dollar value to other wingers of his calibre. Let's see what James Neal and Evander Kane go for this Summer. DEFINITELY gonna be over $6M a year.
