You know, I ran every 5v5 two-way metric that I know, and while they all show small differences one way or another, with the sample size I can't claim there is any difference between the 5v5 performance of Provorov-MacDonald and Provorov-Gostibehere. Without cherry-picking stats, their two-way, win/loss. goals for/against, possession, etc, are not significantly different statistically. So I guess that means I was wrong.

Ghost has been great the past 3 or so weeks. Really taken another step IMO. Today may have been the best game he has played in his NHL career though.

They've tended to go with the hot hand though. I'm ok either way. I think Elliott's been great overall and he was probably needing a break. Neuvy comes in and is great. That's why you have two solid guys. They keep these shenanigans up, we're gonna get into a playoff spot. Rangers losing!!!

Thanks for pointing out why NHL teams don't care about Corsi (or Fenwick). I said 2-way stats. These only show half of the picture. I could show that Provy has many more offensive zone starts with Ghost then he did with AMac, but that is a defensive stat mostly. Derp.

Yep. There is no way Laughton ever wins 60% of his faceoffs in a game again. And Filppula was snake-bit. It's like a meteorite landing in your back yard.

In the last three weeks, Ghost is a -1 with only one power play assist/point.
