I'd really like to see the Flyers get another one before the end of the period and crush any thoughts of a comeback on the Devils part. This is starting to feel like the kind of game that they'll find a way to (frank) up and end up in OT.

Their 5v5 ice time goes up and down depending upon how many penalties the Flyers take. Over the last three games (before today) AMac leads the team in 5v5 TOI/game

Also have to wonder if he is going to reprimanded by Hakstol because he doesn't allow Flyers defenseman to play aggressively offensively. What was he doing around the net?

You know, I ran every 5v5 two-way metric that I know, and while they all show small differences one way or another, with the sample size I can't claim there is any difference between the 5v5 performance of Provorov-MacDonald and Provorov-Gostibehere. Without cherry-picking stats, their two-way, win/loss. goals for/against, possession, etc, are not significantly different statistically. So I guess that means I was wrong.
