I moved to Denver in August 2016 after living in Chicagoland my whole life. 40-50 degrees all winter, skiing in the mountains, and 300+ days of sunshine. Avs games are cheap too!

Right there with ya Enzo. I'm just down the road from you in Monument. Yesterday in short sleeves almost 60 and today the first real snow of the year. Back into upper 40s later this week. Got here in 2010 from Chicago. We actually signed our lease day we beat Philly game 6. How have times changed

Montreal just signed their own Dinosaur 🦕 For 5 Years- meanwhile Boston thrives with new coach.

I think
the Wild is a possibility

Very sad, when the guy that should be on the hot seat is the general manager, with that being said Joel will probably wind up in Edmonton, because that is it team ready to pop that probably just need to guy like him, just like Chicago did in 2008, also probably the next coach of the BLACKHAWKS will be at the United Center today coaching Wisconsin.

What did timmo bring when they traded him to Hawks? 2 would bring in 5x that

I think CC going down for the season was the dagger in any deal of significance for the season.

It is now primarily a thirty five day development camp to see who stays and who goes from the youth group.

Next year is the last year before the strike, and eventually a new CBA. If I am Rocky, I am not doing anything big until the new CBA is in place. A new team in Seattle means another expansion draft as well.

This window is closed. No team is going to make big commitments until the new CBA and expansion rules are settled on.

If Keith was a pending UFA he would. However, term on his contract dictates otherwise.

It's time for a bold move and I have zero confidence that Stan will do that. This team won't make the playoffs and shouldn't. You are stuck with 7 and 19 but the player to move is Keith. If Stan were wise, and he's not, he would try to dish Keith to a contender that can afford him, like TBL or other and get a return for the future. In March you can still get a first rounder - plus for Duncs. In the summer, maybe not. You need to hit up a team that's going all in this year.

If the team is serious about being back in a contending position in the next few years during Kane's prime, then you need to put aside the worries of alienating the fan-base and get down to business.

If not, then it's going to be like this for a while, with overpriced tickets to a mediocre product and future gimmicks. What's next, Kyle Calder "One more lap" night?

- acmidd28

I agree, but the fan base will be pissed if he's traded away for a pick and a prospect. I think that you need a reputable player coming back for Keith. If Karlsson is available, and assuming that the cap is going up at least $5M, I'd offer Keith, Hartman and Kempny. Keith's contract is a bargain at this point, and the other two are cheap which is what Ottawa needs.

Remember how it was desirable for us to emulate the "Detroit Model"?

Well, we are still doing that: Up against the Cap + lousy team

forsberg and glass are a combined 6-9-4, .906, 3.21...

team defensively has played poorly in front of them....if that continues and i see no indication of change....80 pts maybe a reach...

It's been a great ride for Hawks, but time has come for them to try and get rid of few vets and bring in new blood. Its going to be very difficult for Bowman to get this done. They also have to say goodbye Q.All coaches have there favorites ,and Q has over use them and they now have slowed to the point where they don't have much left to give. The Toews,Seabrooks have had their injuries over the years and now have slowed them down quite a bit.Q as far as I'm concern has mlss used certain players on this current team and over used others. Its time for this Hawks team to make major changes to staff and players. We all have enjoyed the 3 cups and it's been a great team to watch over the last 8 years or so,Go Hawks Go.

that was one helluva ride from 2009-2015...a generational coming together HOF roster talent that got gutted by the cap year after year...

He's not a trade deadline move. Off season and only if he was willing to be moved. Be careful what you wish for - what's coming back is a bunch of very inexperienced guys like Forsling, some might make it others won't.

someone mentioned sharp has NTC with his 1 year deal...not true...

1 year deal @ 800k and 200K incentive bonus...which he will not meet...

he will be moved at the TDL to a contender looking for forward depth

this talk of trading keith..no way...cap friendly hit for the hawks...he still one of the best positional and stick defenders in the league and with this exp lacking dcorp...he will stay and retire a blackhawk unless he asks to be moved..

.906 and a 3.21 your spot on, its a firing range too many frigen shots on goal.

Edit: i know hammer was breaking down but, his blocking prowess is missing.

Honestly, just let the guy retire here after this year like I think he planned. His cap hit is negligible and he's not going to bring back a lot in trade.

That someone was myself and my source is the Cap Friendly site which I think is quite reliable.

And, yes, he does have a NTC and, yes, he has already met his bonus (10 games played).

Thanks
I agree 100%
He might be the last guy I’d trade-

I would move Anyone or any combination of anyone on this team for Eric Karrlson

He’s the best player in the NHL to rebuild around
and the Sens are listening

It’s gozing to need to be a three way blockbuster because Ottawa wants a group of Up and coming players making 1.5 Million
They need to move Hoffman, Deon and Karrslen

Maybe this a Savard for Chelios

It would be nice if the Hawks could get some more draft picks. Who do they have that would get them first and second round picks at the TDL?

Nobody. Maybe Saad for another player and a first or second.
