Well, for a couple of years Toews would fight on the ice to show Bowman that the right players were not surrounding him anymore. Maybe this is his way of telling the GM to get some better players....

His play now merits a trip to the press box in my book. That is not leadership. Give the C to Kane, put Toews on the third line, and make him earn his way back up.

this team is garbage. I am usually against firing the HC, especially one who is one of the best of all time, but this team does not have any life or resolve. they play one style of hockey and cannot adjust at all. that falls on the coach. they don't hit. they only want to pass and shoot from the perimeter. The Detroit game was bad, but games like that happen...coming back from a one week break and crapping the bed this badly should NEVER happen.

I love Quennville, but even the best of voices eventually become white noise at some point. Maybe it is time to have a new voice guiding this team.

Agreed to an extent, but this team is 40% or more AHL quality players. That's on Stan Bowman, not Q.

I bet right about now the NHL is feeling REALLY (red font) good about having the Blackhawks in the Winter Classic next season.
