WHY would they want him? Good lord...just because he's from there why would they want him?

Patrick Kane still really (frank)ing good at hockey. What a play. 800 points for Kaner. Kane factors into all 3 goals. The only guy who can create any offense on the whole team.

Kane is earning every stinking nickel he makes. Amazing he was the one who was considered immature a few years ago. The dude has done nothing but pull his weight since singing that deal.

And the GM is responsible for the WTF roster/line up decisions? If you cant recognize when a team has quit on the HC then I dont know what to tell you. Win, tear up the lines. Lose, tear up the lines. Its enough. The way this roster is being turned over makes it ideal to bring in a fresh set of eyes behind the bench.

Bag of pucks and $10.5M in cap space. The way Toews has been playing, he'd probably get booed out of his hometown.

Mikita had a 21 year career, thats the hardest part. Their point production rates arent that far off, but the NHL at Mikitas time late into his career entering the era where scoring was ripe and goalies were awful (mostly because of so much standup goalie styles with so much crap goals going in on the ice)

problem is the NHL late into Kanes 30s will likely become so much more flush with depth talent and increasingly harder for veteran players slowing down to keep up and producing points

Ulf has never cracked it as an NHL coach. Has been a journeyman assistant in the NHL and had a pretty lackluster head coaching stint in the AHL last year with Charlotte

If the plan is to go to Ulf to replace Q, its a disaster
