The Forsling and Rutta pairing have been a "nice story" but other than a handful of good games as a pair and Forsling having a solid stretch on his own, they have been very average. I like the potential of both, but they have been underwater lately.

Murphy should be playing for the rest of the year and now Gustafsson looking like a player, the 8 D rotation will remain a mess for the rest of the year.

Kempny will not be resigning here, so Stan will look to do the smart thing and move him soon. It's too bad because I think he's a solid player.

I really think that’s what Stan had in mind when he hired Ulf, time will tell.

I don't think Q has lost the room as much as the room has emptied out and no one is left. He had a high powered team not that many years ago. Now he has Kane, shells of guys who used to be top of the league, and a bunch of not ready for primetime players.

I don't think you fire Q quite yet because the next coach isn't going to be able to do much of anything until those "shells" can get removed from the roster, and that isn't likely to happen until after the CBA reopens after next season. If anyone can get something out of those guys, it's Q. I still think you try to add some pieces for a final run next year. If it works out, you try again the year after that. If it doesn't work out, THEN you retool

Patrick Kane still really (frank)ing good at hockey. What a play. 800 points for Kaner. Kane factors into all 3 goals. The only guy who can create any offense on the whole team.

And the GM is responsible for the WTF roster/line up decisions? If you cant recognize when a team has quit on the HC then I dont know what to tell you. Win, tear up the lines. Lose, tear up the lines. Its enough. The way this roster is being turned over makes it ideal to bring in a fresh set of eyes behind the bench.

as much as his off ice character is questioned, there is no one more committed to excelling his skill than him. last off the ice every time and always works his butt off every summer to hone his skills
