No Bo tonight—but maybe tomorrow in Winnipeg.

Canucks and Oilers both riding two-game winning streaks as they face off in Edmonton tonight:

His actual salary is 1 mil for the next 3 years and 3 mil on the final year according to cap friendly

And his cap hit is $6m, so $5m of his salary gets paid out July 1 each year. I bet you could trade him to a Phoenix, Ottawa etc on July 2nd with two seasons left in his contract. It would be something like $5m in actual dollars for $12m in cap hit.

I seen the list of 8 for possible replacements . Four of them are assistant GMs and might just be starting all over again. Benning was a coveted assistant GM with no experience.

Fararro to me is a definite no as a GM and a maybe as an assistant. I think he would get eaten alive.

Lombardi Flecher I would be okay with . Both have had success building in the West ( league ) Advantage Lombardi

Holland no for me.

Gilman . History with the team. Contract experience. Analytic friendly . Media savvy .Was part of Canucks most successful build. Has a very good feel of current player evaluation. I would not complain about a Gilman Bracket combo

Gilman lol good God no!
