This thread is ground hog day as it should be due to the team it's participants follow. Same poop every season never changes. The thread is simply a byproduct of the team.

Something tells me, 7, that we've seen this movie before.

Would be nice to at least get a new director.

Is Mrazek really available? Young and a stud under Babcock. New coaches have stunted his growth. I think he would solidify the position for a long time.

First didn't Howard jist get injured recently? Second, what makes you think any of our coaches are going to to anything positive with him they don't exactly have the best track record?

Weight: Halak in goal, Johnston/Quine for Dal Colle/Prince, same

Figured Greiss would get the start after his last game.

Somehow these clowns are managing to trot out an even worse lineup than last game.

At least we don't have to see an AHL player on the first line.

The craziest part about this D corps is when they get the puck in a relatively safe situation and then you watch them play themselves into increasing danger until it results in a goal against. They'll backtrack, hold the puck too long, miscommunicate, and, if all else fails, just flub it right onto an opponent's stick in front of the net. It's like a series of the unluckiest and most improbable events, but it happens every game.

Yep. Has nothing to do with luck. Indecision and just a free for all for the most part. Zero structure to speak of.

Nothing like watching the Isles D pass the puck back and forth in the d zone or the passing back into the d zone.

Ice the puck when there's no pressure, hold onto the puck in the neutral zone when they should dump it, the everyone's favorite skate the puck behind opposing teams nets and give it up without a fight putting yourself completely out of position, I can go on and on with it. Correctable problems that don't require a trade that are never corrected.
Nothing changes.

I saw that. There is no way they are winning tonight anyway. Facking Johnston and Quine. Why even make the trip?
