Rangers at least care enough to try to win. Some moves will just not work out like you thought it would. You just do not let season after season fall apart without doing anything.

Yeah I'm not defending the Rangers, there were certain seasons I didn't want to anything and of course they do. Its just funny how Snow is the complete opposite. At some point you have to try to trade some kids. Like chiefs said , I could see Snow on Hoarders.

If Snow does have a long-term contract as per the rumor, make him GM of Bridgeport and ECHL team and hire someone else.
- kear20

Ledecky has to suck it up and get Garth as far away as possible from this team. Garth's contract should not crush Ledecky and Malkin. Isles won Belmont so it's time to really run this organization like a professional one.

I've had issues with some of the Rangers moves like the Yandle trade, but the Rangers were trying to improve and get to a Cup. What are the Isles and Garth Snow trying to do? It seems like a forever rebuild.

Every year this shat just continues with some mundane excuse in an attempt to justify this guy still being our GM. If you need an excuse to justify ones worth they shouldn't have a job in the first place. It's beyond nuts at this point how this is allowed to continue its been over a decade of obvious, complete incompetence. We're going to lose our franchise center because of this idiot. Why wait for that to happen? As usual everything is too little too late if anything is ever done to begin with.

snow not getting fired. I actually disagree with notion of firing GM when new owners come in. Buffalo did that and look where they are now.

I do think Ledecky needs to go to Garth and say go get what you need to get this team to playoffs.
Noone asking him to be Mike Milbury.

This team needs a franchise dman. (by that i mean all around minutes guy that does it all). Pulock, Dehaan will never be those guys. Leddy is an offensive dman and definitely a keeper but at -20 he isnt that guy either.

Unfortunately Brock Nelson says it all, a skilled character guy from a great hockey family but with an appeared compete level which appears to flatline. Snow was this supposed psycho competitive goalie but I think Wang convinced not to draft any 'troublemakers' or guys rep'd by certain agents.

The players and fans have been bamboozeled by meaningless wild card playoff races, metro rivals with basically one team, NYR, poor goalie development, inexperienced coaches, sycophant journalists and broadcasters covering the team, self deluding players and now an owner in Ledecky who has no idea about winning in pro sports but focused on a real estate deal.

But the injuries! He would be a great GM if no one got injured!

Just because it did not work for Buffalo does not mean Ledecky should have keep Garth. If Ledecky has to go tell Garth to get what the team needs, you have the wrong GM. A franchise dman would be great and all also very hard to get. A couple of solid dmen would be a great start.

if we lost Tavares, Barzal or Leddy to injury, then you can tell me its hurting us.

But to cry and make excuses losing just roster players is total BS.
Penguins won the cup without Kris Letang.

Weight also has to stop protecting his guys. Chimera has been a Zero. in fact his blown play on Fritz defensive zone let to boston 2nd goal by spooner was the turning point of the game.

bring back Ho Sang, this team doesnt need more NHL castoffs from AHL.

This team would still suck with no injuries as we already saw in the beginning of the season. In no world can you expect your offense to consistently score 5 or more goals a game. We have a coach who employs zero defensive strategy or his players are just completely ignoring him and a gm who just sits back and watches his team struggle every year and does nothing.

Something has to give just fire them all JT is gone already. If his relationship was so strong with Snow he would've signed already success not with standing. He can see where this team is headed its not going to suddenly turn on the jets and start performing between our coach and what he has to work with. Let's just get on with it already and shat can everyone involved with this team and bring in new management. The culture has to change. I know you're kidding btw

It would really worry me if JT was close to Garth. I would still can Garth whether JT liked it or not. The injury excuse is very weak and has gone on for years with this team. Doug got to pick all his coaches and he needs to come up with something even if the GM does not bring in help. The team was not playing well even before the injuries.

i believe Montreal unofficially has said everyone available except for Price and Mete.
So there you go. Montreal has plenty of decent dman. I think Petry and Leddy would make a nice pairing.

why do Islanders need to bring a Goon to play against Blackhawks a team that doesnt fight? so kane can have someone easier to skate around?

You thought Losing to Boston was bad. Blackhawks going to light us up. Sometimes islanders are just what the Dr order to help a struggling team get back on track.

Garth isn't doing a damn thing. Like someone else said earlier, who even knows if he's actually ALIVE?

We used to chant "MIKE MUST GO!" at games. It's time for the fans that DO go to games still to start chanting, "SNOW MUST GO!"

And if anyone DOES see Ledecky on the damn train, don't kiss his butt. Ask him those tough questions that Staple IS afraid to ask.

I jumped out of my seat last year when I saw Ledecky. It's the only reason I wanted to go to the game.
