I didn't see 6-8 mil jumps. And I still think it holds value. Teams will still be reluctant to be very close to the cap because then it limits in-season trade ability. Hey, we got Marc Savard from Florida, not a cap team, for a 2nd. There's value there.

Agreed, I think Shero has some moves up his sleeve yet. Absorbing cap is absolutely an option. If Karlson is on the Market, throw in Phaneuf (3 years after this) and get the package for a bargain. Personally, I agree that the Devs aren't a cup contender this year, so maybe Mcleod/Zacha/Schneids could be movable assets.

Not that I think a Karlsson trade to the Devils will happen, but I'm sure Oilers fans wanted more than Larsson for Hall and we all know how that worked out. If fans were the ones to set the terms for trades, they'd never happen.

Hope they give Moore an assist on that one.

Boyle has at least shown he can produce on the PP. Zajac has been useless on it. No point putting them both on the same PP. Boggles my mind.

I can't believe Zajac gets PP time over Zacha. Not that Zacha will suddenly light it up, but at least he's a skill player with potential. WTF does Zajac offer either of those units (let alone the top unit with Hall). It's infuriating!

When you get in trouble on the PP, you look for somebody to make a quick skill pass to and continue those quick tight passes until you eventually find the open man. With Zajac and Boyle out there together, the play usually dies on their stick since they don't have the ability to make those quick skill passes to bail out of a jam and continue the possession, it just continues to happen with no change.

Well periods two and three weren't bad.

What a sh*tshow. They couldn't hit the net all afternoon. So many chances. All the bounces went the other way. The Flyers played a real good game too.

The constant dump ins are not NHL hockey IMO.
