Nash gonna have a big road trip. 6 goals, 10 points |

Brooks: Shattenkirk knee surgery on Monday. Torn meniscus. Has been playing through it all season. Out indefinitely.
Let’s keep criticizing him. ADA gets a big time chance, let’s see what he does with it. - airjan23
Maybe he should have gotten it taken care of instead of sucking out there. |

I am having a hard time understanding why Shattenkirk is somehow immune from criticism. I really am. |

He's not. He had plenty of games where he was criticized. In the scheme of things though he leads defenseman in goals and points and thats why he was brought here. I have way less patience for the defenseman that are here and are getting paid to be good defensively. |

I hear you, Matt. But for that type of money, I want him to be decently defensively as well. He doesn't have to be Larry Robinson, but he has to be good.

imo, he's been average/bad the last month or two. this definitely explains some of it.
i personally am glad ada is getting another shot. he's probably more of a liability that shatty is in his own zone but can fill in nicely on the pp |

More Shattenkirk on injury: "I think this is the first step to get back to where I am and come back and have a meaningful impact on this team down the stretch." #NYR

Yeah I agree, and he had a rough go of it for awhile, I think he has actually been better as of late. Injury explains why he was getting beat pretty bad to the inside by the better skaters in the league. |

So does anyone know if the Hayes injury was soft tissue bruise, or bone bruise?

Nice to see Zuc's tip in on the power play. Whoops! Oh right! He was killing a penalty! I believe he's run his course in NYC. I believe he would bring back a lot to the right place. I still think trading Zuc & Mac with another piece could get Drasiatal to NYC. Its either entertain the idea of trading both of them or think about having to pay them both close to $15M/ yr for 7yrs!
See ya! - rangerbluelou
I believe you are wrong.
How exactly are we going to have to pay them $7.5M each? That is completely irrational. |

Kampfer gets a ton of crap, but I have not seen anything glaring when he plays on the 3rd pairing. probably our most physical defenseman, and always makes the smart simple play. |

It is kind of amazing with all the stud defensemen in Hartford that the Wolfpack is kind of a dumpster fire. |
