Actually new jersey horse racing has taken a huge hit all around, there was a time when the meadowlands was the best harness track in the world, and monmouth park actually hosted the Breeders Cup. Now both are ghost towns on most days or nights?

Except for the premiere tracks its like that everywhere because of OTB. Now they all bet from their computers at home. No real reason to go to the track anymore

They are going to eventually close Aqueduct once Belmont is done. I read they are going to put millions into the track at Belmont along with the arena and they want to make Belmont year around except for when they go to Saratoga. They are going to be racing thoroughbreds at night at Belmont as well. Aqueduct will probably stay open as a casino and practice track most likely would be my guess

Typical of most fan bases but especially ours, you kill a guy for not playing through an injury but then put no bearing on that injury for his overall play, I'd still sign Shatty today

Yes John Campbell, funny part he was from canada, and a huge hockey fan, if the devils were playing that night, he would watch the devils, then go across the parking lot and drive the last few races of the night.

Don't think we'll be selling. Two big wins against formidable opponents.

Take the Devils for example who for years at the deadline could only get 3rd round picks and couple of 2nds because they didnt have to the horses to trade as rentals, this could be the perfect chance for the Rangers to really accelerate the rebuild process

I doubt that is why his game was average.. As I said previously, St Louis or Washington would have resigned him if he was worth the $$. Hes not, even with the "hometown discount"... He basically came here for an early retirement...
