I know homie and 89 have good sources and often provide accurate info here but I firmly believe that Botts had no intention of ever re signing Kane.

Not just because of the recent report but because it doesn't really make sense with the blueprint he wants and learned from the Pens and it doesn't fit the timeline of being patient with where the sabres are headed.

This probably helps your point but his attitude issues were grossly over exaggerated especially in Toronto.

In reality the only ones with an actual problem were Burke and maybe Kadri in his early days.
