Something tells me that getting 6 points out of a possible 20 in the past 10 games is not a good strategy for making the playoffs. The failure to pick up any loser points along the way is a killer. |

They had some great offense obviously but they weren’t bad on the defensive side.
When the oilers learned how to play defense it turned them into the the champs they were.
The Pens when Suli came in totally played a tighter game defensively. |

It should have been 4 points out of 20. They had no business beating the Habs. |

They gave up over 30 shots again. Jaro may have just skated off and said (frank) off to the rest of the team. - JimmyP
How many games has it been now where the scoring chances were so lopsided? How can Snow not see the need to upgrade the D? And doesn’t he have an extra 1st to deal?
Give JT a legitimate reason to stay FFS. |

90s pens as well. More so then the 2000 pens.
Trottier was acquired in 90 just for that reason. Not a bad group defensively at all.
Didn’t win games 6-5 they won 10-2 |

Well he’d better look faster, time is fast running out. Goligoski, Hjalmarsson, Scandella, etc, any would do for now. |

The Isles are still in the thick of things. There are still a lot of teams in contention for the wild card spots, but looking at the standings they are hardly out of it. |

Out of it? No, but one can’t reasonably expect wins the way the last 10 or so games have been trending. In the end giving up that many shots always bites you in the ass. |

5 guys putting up 65+ points and we're trying to sniff the 2nd wild card. It's crap. |

No argument from me. They shouldn't be in this potion this many years into a rebuild. |

I firmly believe that Snow wants the team to play this wide open style. They played it under Gordon. They played it for many years under Crappy. Now under Weight every D-man pinches every shift, no matter what the score or situation. This is the way it will be until Snow is gone. |
