JVR has 19 goals, not 10. Makes me happy that he scores on Philly often, hopefully he has a good night tonight - Conquest

My favorite Flyers:
1. Ron Hextall
2. Eric Lindros
3. Claude Giroux
4. Ivan Provorov
It would have been amazing to see Big E accept that offer of sorts from the Flyers and had a comeback in 2012. If for only for him to finish his career as a Flyer. Would have been neat to see if he would have made an impact.

I'm glad to see him receive this honour.
When he was at the top of his game, man oh man, there was never a more exciting player to watch.
I still see him every once in a while at a Toronto rink - he plays shinny before my team plays. He's gained a few pounds, but whenever we see him on the ice, we always stand around for a few minutes to watch him - he still does crazy stuff, like spin around and make a 100 mph pass 120 feet to someone's tape.

Lindros. Well deserved honor tonight. Tremendous player. His ending as a Flyer player was tragic in every way. Feud. Injured and lost the series. Held out. Traded to the goddamn (frank)ing rangers. Ultimately no Cup. So many amazing moments that add up to bitter sweetness. Or perhaps the other way around.
Fences have been mended. That feels good. For some reason, I wish he'd be more involved though, as an active member of the office/staff. I know that's not his life.
For tonight, I hope for once the Flyers play with determination and win one of these games where a former player is honored. Make it mean something.
I was watching a few of the 95 playoffs vs the rangers clips earlier today and forgot how crazy dorny got after Haller's Game 2 winner in OT. it's (frank)ing hysterical.

Picking one or 10 or even 25 favorite Flyers is a tough task.
