"Bust" of a trade or a terrible trade or horrible in its nature? Debatable, but IMO, no, and DEFINITELY NOT the worst trade during Chia's tenure. That will be discussed in the next blog (Eberle trade).

Overpayment? Yep. Any competent GM would be banking on a 1st or at least a 2nd to be included with Larsson to compensate for the risk assessment involved with the trade (banking on Larsson to develop upon any offence he has shown during his years in Junior/Internationals and from what we saw from him during the Stevens/Oates tenure). Not only that, but Hall was definitely seen as more established in terms of what he could provide. When it comes to Larsson, the fullest of what he could bring was and still is in question, most likely due to the growth curve of defenders. Guess a degree in Economics from Harvard means squat.

In the list of what we already know will be covered, in accordance with worst to debatable (whether due to hindsight or variating tangibles):

Ebs trade > 16th/33rd trade > Hall trade

look at their roster. larkin, tatar and nyquist are really the only good players they developed over the last several years.
