The team has acquired forwards Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for forward Phillip Danault and a second-round draft pick in 2018.

What are you laughing at? Nashville is looking at him too.

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet: The Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, and Vancouver Canucks were among the teams that have been scouting in Sweden the past couple weeks. Some potential free agents include defensemen Lawrence Pilut and Joel Persson and forwards Michael Lindqvist and Par Lindholm.

Technically, any injury report can be a HIPPA violation unless cleared through the player.
- walleyeb1

I also wonder if there are any regulations set by the NHLPA about how and when injuries, health statuses, etc. are reported publicly by teams.

That Seabrook contract is something else...

Just one of the handful of reasons Bowman should be canned this summer. This is another...

What happens? Well of course they pull a Hawks, gain LTIR cap relief, go rent an impact player while plugging their issue in goal, then Crawford magically is healed on the last day of the regular season.

That's exactly what we're planning. Add Hossa back into the mix and viola', instant awesome-ness.

So the Hawks have the Panik (1.6m), Hossa and CC money to play with... Right?

Does that mean in regards to this year's cap alone they can sign 13.6 m worth of players?

Time to go shopping.

Crow isn't on LTIR. We currently have 2.8m available without that.

So Justin or to whomever on this panel, seeing that Crawford more than likely not coming back any time soon what direction do the hawks take. Go for the playoffs and put crow on LTRI and see what trades could happen or stay on the path of getting younger and faster for the future hard to say what influence is coming from above bowman. To me and my personal opinion hawks should look to next year and beyond and just chalk this year up as a lost season. See what players can the hawks trade and what do the hawks want in return looking for hockey trades value for value. Who are those players:

AA
wiggles
bouma
Hartman
franson
sharp
murphy
kempney

or do entertain shopping kieth to a contender for example Toronto or is that offseason move along with seabrook towes sadd and kane at some point we the fans and hawks management there is a rebuild is coming and some of the core is going not all but some. Also in a trade the hawks need to get goaltending depth in there system. So what trades would you make and for what?

Why aren't you on the Pred's board?

Oh, sorry, only 4 entries in the last 7 hours. No one to talk to, just like you.

Oh my god? Rosy? The league would fold if Rosy were to return, that would just not be fair to all comers to the Hawks devious plan.

If you are looking to the future, you cannot include some of the younger names. That would be an Oiler type of thing to do and you see where it has got them.

We spent part of the money just to get to a full 23 man roster.... that's how bad our cap situation was

Can anyone comment on the ceiling or potential of these players particularly any adjustment in their NHL readiness based on what you have seen or read about them this season. MyQuist? You could update on Carlsson and Toulola also VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Nah the player is owned by the team as soon as they sign that contract. The team makes the decision on what they will share and what they won't share. NHL especially the Hawks have been extremely vague but they still have to report the player is injured due to the odds makers, since gambling is a huge part of the sports industry
