Go for the playoffs and put crow on LTRI and see what trades could happen or stay on the path of getting younger and faster for the future hard to say what influence is coming from above bowman. To me and my personal opinion hawks should look to next year and beyond and just chalk this year up as a lost season. See what players can the hawks trade and what do the hawks want in return looking for hockey trades value for value. Who are those players:

If you are looking to the future, you cannot include some of the younger names. That would be an Oiler type of thing to do and you see where it has got them.

Can anyone comment on the ceiling or potential of these players particularly any adjustment in their NHL readiness based on what you have seen or read about them this season. MyQuist? You could update on Carlsson and Toulola also VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Nah the player is owned by the team as soon as they sign that contract. The team makes the decision on what they will share and what they won't share. NHL especially the Hawks have been extremely vague but they still have to report the player is injured due to the odds makers, since gambling is a huge part of the sports industry
