I see an a$$ whoopin coming tomorrow. Long lay offs = disaster with this team. I'm trying to stay positive, but anyone with an NHL can see this team needs a spark and it starts with the HC.

Gretz was traded. Bears fired Ditka. Hell, Hawks canned Savard PDQ. Time to realize that this team needs a new HC.

I think Murphy should be playing, but Gustaffson had a good 20 game stretch of games a few years ago before injuring his knee and losing his "mojo". IMO, Seabrook should be scratched for Murphy and Sharp should be scratched for Hayden. What's your beef with Duclair on the top line? Q seems to like him (got PP1 time in his first game), and I think he has been very solid thus far creating offense.

they only have 7 games left with teams with worst records...i hardly think that is a positive...they have demonstrated they can't beat top 16 teams with any regularity...

but to your point they have aves (3), stars (1), preds (1), blues (3), jets (3), wild (1) = 12 games; current record of 5-6-2 with 4 regulation wins 13 games

pacific division: knights (1), kings (2), sharks (3), ducks (2), flames (2) = 10: current record of 1-3-1 with 1 regulation win in 5 games

combined = 6-9-3 with 5 regulation wins in 18 games

they have 22 games left with teams WC playoff hunt; even if they somehow split those games and improve vs their current record they have to win 80% of their games vs everyone else including the top teams in the east: bolts (1), caps (1), bruins (2), bluejackets (1)...and they close with blues-jets-blues (2 of those on the road)

to accomplish a playoff bid with this schedule we would have a major hyde to jeckly transformation...

Maybe you missed Vinny's back-checking, or lack-thereof, on Sunday. He was demoted pretty much immediately after that for Duclair, who has looked very good thus far playing with speed and creating offense.

Ya I did miss most of that game ,did not appear anyone had a good game . I am not completely against this move as Duclair has looked goods far . Would like to Debrincat up with Kane And AA when he gets back, and Vinny with Schmaltz and Hartman .Then we might really have something .If Q Keep's spinning the wheel he may hit on it .

Ehhhhhh, I don't agree

Bowman was able to retool after 2010 for 2 more Stanley Cups and Q was there to coach them, I keep him, i let Q decide if he wants to reset this team or come up into the front office. I truly have to believe they/Bowmans understand the situation they are in.

Who could predict Toews and Keith all of a sudden go into preservation mode. Seabrook would be a 6th defenseman this year, I'm sure management is pissed especially after bringing Saad back.

I have to give Bowman credit though, its a young team and he's trying but unfortunately when your 3 best players aren't your 3 best players things go south in a hurry.

Totally against this L1 change....More BS overthinking by our HOF coach. Hinestroza has ignited line 1 with puck posession and creating scoring chances because he's fast and has good hands.

I hope I'm wrong here but I just don't think that Duclair is a playmaker.
