Why do people keep calling him this? it's "Sikura." No 'n,' no 'l.'
- JRoenick97

Seriously, I've asked this same question 3 times in the last week i think. Literally i couldn't even find anything with "sinkula" and "hockey" related on the internet besides a podcast from some guy in Green Bay, WI about the Green Bay Gamblers haha. No idea where this is coming from.

Honestly I'm okay with winning or losing, effort effort effort, LVGK are a perfect example of that, a bunch hockey players not considered to be good enough to be protected working there farking assess off, I'm sure many of them want a new contract as well since many are going to be free agents this summer.

If they are moving anyone, I would prefer they move Debrincat all other things equal. Cat has a ton of talent, but I like Schmaltz better for the long-term. Specifically, I like what 8 brings as far as a swing center option.

A power winger/center is the antithesis of what Debrincat offers this team. While I think Cat has NHL-talent, this team already has a few too many super-smurfs.

This is on the assumption that the team we trade with doesn't care between 8 and 12. I think 8 probably brings back more than 12 however.

Do you trade Nick Schmaltz or Alex Debrincat for a young Power Winger/Center?
- EnzoD

Schmaltz, hands down! The cat and him are both smaller players but at least the cat will compete and has a lot more upside. If it can get Jacob Trouba , Sign me up That kid coming out of college could probably replace nick schmaltz.

Toews

It's about the time of year when our slow-starting, vaunted-leader, two-way-playing, somewhat-streaky captain goes on a tear. Also, hawks wins are far better when 19 supplies a few goals. So, for my own selfish enjoyment, Toews goes on a streak.

Better chance of winning the lottery than that ever happening.

Guess we're winning the lottery then because Toews always streaks. Every season he has a massive streak of 10-20 games. You just have to go and research it. It's literally every season. He starts slow almost every year, a la Jarome Iginla, and then goes complete manimal mode and carries the team on his back.

for the # of guys that we have in the NCAA its is a pretty lousy list. Sikura, Krys and Mitchell are the only guys that look to have any NHL potential. allot of those guys will probably not even sign AHL deals.

I wouldn't count out just yet Oloffson (F, Nebraska-Omaha), Barratt (F, Penn State), Gilbert (D, Notre Dame), or Hillman (D, Denver). They may be longer shots compared to Sikura, Krys, and Mitchell but still possible. In other words, not much fanfare or airtime so they could sneak up as dark horses.

1. 2 first round outs and a miss; could be last in the division
2. 45 mildo in cap $$ for 6 players; and Hossa cap comes into play again
3. 60% of cap for 6 players...

Stan should be shown the door as well if/when they are outside the Top 8 in the West OR bounced in Round 1.

Perfect, lets call up the guy who hasn't played in the NHL in years and then stick him next to the corpse of Seabrook after a week off and expect that to end well

Don't know why you ask DK. Q is Q. It is obvious now he has no idea what do do with this. Duclair on the top line? Murphy out? Have no doubt 2, 7 and 19 will see PP time when they need a seat. He cant leave a line together to save his life. Win 5-1, tear up the lines. Lose 5-1, tear up the lines.

I see an a$$ whoopin coming tomorrow. Long lay offs = disaster with this team. I'm trying to stay positive, but anyone with an NHL can see this team needs a spark and it starts with the HC.

Gretz was traded. Bears fired Ditka. Hell, Hawks canned Savard PDQ. Time to realize that this team needs a new HC.

Ya...true.

They practiced the PP today, no Seabrook at all while Toews and Keith were on the second unit.

they are on pace for 91 = out;

96 give them a shot but tie breakers could leave them out: something like 22-13-2 might get it done; with out craw and 28 of their final 35 vs teams vying for top 8 in each conf...and their maddening ability for 30-40 minute games...

= stanbow and Q gone

Perfect as can be. Let's call up a guy who maybe can play thiscqwuick game because he might be the bottom feeder in the 8 deep defense after Kempny is traded. Seabrook needs someone who can move the puck and Gus can do Beside if the top pairs are minus Murphy you Don't want him with Seabrook. Also this: another team likes Gus. There scouts say, add him as a reserve. The GM says, i need to see Gus at NHL before I trade for him
