I don't disagree but I don't think the guy is infallible. Those guys not playing up to their potential seems to earn them extra ice-time while younger guys get saddles with Martin as punishment. Things like that irk me.
If our division wasn't so horrendous this could be a very different season at this point because since December began this team looks good for 1-2 games out of every 5-6. - markmark
A lot of time left to play better.
A lot of people seem to forget how well this team played the second half with essentially the same team but worse......
Everyone needs to relax and hope that the team returns to form. We know they are capable of it |

Cool
Dosnt change the fact that the team played well as a whole
I'm not sure if you noticed, but when teams play well their goalie plays well.....pretty simple to see |

To be clear, I am not advocating that this team figure out their poop for some glorious cup run. I am advocating that some extra responsibility and TOI get put on the younger guys so they can grow as opposed to forcing the vets out there even if they are having a really bad night. |

Koreas to form unified ice hockey team, march together in Olympics - Symba007
This is franking bullpoop.
Franking host nation is given an unfair advantage - they can pool their talent, hide any weak spots.
They are obviously now the favourites.
Where does it franking end? Are we going to let the Turks Islands combine with the Caicos Islands to form a soccer team? |

yeah. I just don't know what direction the team should go in.
i like the idea of trying for a little run in the playoffs. The players should expect to win and they should feel supported by management; which to me means we should be buyers.
i also feel like if we lose komarov/bozak and jvr for nothing and end up being out in 1 round, it'll be kind of a waste too.
not easy. - Tumbleweed
I don't know either, my guess is Leo is resigned for the same or a little cheaper.
The other 2 will depend how we're playing close to the TDL. JVR is going to want too much IMO for what he brings...sure he scores, but he doesn't drive the play he scores off what his line mates give him for the most. |

In case you fellas haven't realized this yet, one of Marleau's duties is to mentor Matthews and Marner.
In Babcock's own words, that's been working better than he ever could have imagined.
I wasn't a huge fan of the signing, but at least for now, we all need to sit down and stfu.
The Leafs have many problems right now - Marleau isn't one of them. |

I am starting to think we should have spent our 6.25m on a top pair dman, instead of a 2nd/3rd line LW - mr.sir
They were trying too....except they signed Marleau in the hopes they could trade JVR for a D ( who's going to want $6+++ for 7 years. ) |

They went out and got a good goalie for a reason....reason=stopping pucks
30 games ago, people were trading him to Siberia.

No. That's what they're bringing Thornton in for in the offseason. |
