Since the day that it happened, I have never (and will never willingly) watched the replay of Stevens' hit on Lindros. To me, that's more painful than Kane's OT winner in 2010. - jmatchett383
Absolutely. I remember it vividly. I knew they would lose the series.

i remember feeling that in game 6 when lindros' goal 1/10th of a second after the 2nd period buzzer correctly didn't count, that they would lose the series.
A slew of factors in the lead up for Philadelphia @ MSG.
The Flyers haven't done well in MSG for quite some time now.
Rangers had a team meeting following their loss to the Pens on Sunday.
Lundqvist was up for a milestone record.
Shattenkirk, the Rangers big FA signing has not lived up to his billing and had a one-on-one sit down with Alain Vigneault.
All that still doesn't excuse the way the Flyers played. They were picked apart in the neutral zone. A game like that the Flyers have to hunker down and WORK. Soft cross dumps and pound their defenseman. McDonough played through back spasms. Pressuring him could have been an effective strategy. More body checks throughout their game plan should have been implemented. More north south, less pass-first mentality which has afflicted the whole team save Courturier. Elliot did not look good. It's time to play Neuvirth a bit more. - Pixote Andolini
Yes sir, that neutral zone game was killer. I fully expect a strong performance out of the team tomorrow against Toronto

After nights like last night, I look at the big picture and realize that developing Brandon Manning's power play prowess is more important than getting wins now

Remember the 10 seconds when Goulbourne resembled an nhl player? That can never be taken away from him
