Soft cross dumps and pound their defenseman. McDonough played through back spasms. Pressuring him could have been an effective strategy. More body checks throughout their game plan should have been implemented. More north south, less pass-first mentality which has afflicted the whole team save Courturier. Elliot did not look good. It's time to play Neuvirth a bit more.

It's pretty great seeing how comfortable and at peace the Big E appears to be in public or in interviews.
