Already got one. His name is Patrick Marleau.

Doesn't play on the 1st line, barely ever plays with Matthews, costs too much which means JVR is likely gone and he's too old to make a difference when this team is going to be a real contender.

Your defending kadri’s performance? Because he plays against opponents top line? I say he has 1 point in five weeks. He played against top lines last season as well and played BETTER - with more heart-contributing on a regular basis. Kadri is not and has not been playing well (contributing) if he has no points how will we win? Didn’t komorav have 20 goals last year as well?

He's never scored 20.

Kadri has been playing poorly for about a month now, results show that as well. But I thought he's been much better last 2-3 games and he was terrific last night.

The loss was the entire team's fault - except for Freddie.

Can't blame it on Marner, Kadri, the refs.

They should have been better, played with some jump and urgency coming off the break. They could have ran all over the Blues last night if they did.

I don't mind losing, I don't like how they lost.

Another great job by the REFS.

On the Martin hit anyone else notice 2 things? They didn't get an extra penalty and the Leafs scored on the play! Why does a goal not count because 3 St.Louis players jump Martin?

Matthews was mauled several times in the third and OT with no calls...

Oh well, loser point for everyone!

I wouldn't say that. Was it Browns fault? Matthews fault? Lots of guys played well. Our offence has dried up and we are not getting any breaks. Could they have played a little harder? Yes, but so could St.Louis. I have a feeling we are going to break out offensively soon. We are getting chances, just not going in.

My only complaint offensively speaking is some of our players need to learn to drive the net. How many times in a game does Willey curl around and not drive the net? Marner? The fact is if you want to score, drive the net! Creates rebounds and scrambled play in front. Not all our goals have to be picture perfect passing plays...

Team is going through an adjustment period this year.

Last year's run and gun, rookies running on sheer enthusiasm, being left untouched (unwritten rule/spirit of the game that says, thou shall not maul the rookies)? Not anymore.

Teams are trying to get under Matthews' skin, a lot. Even Marner is getting smacked around.

Welcome to the NHL, kids.
