I'd imagine we're blaming Hunlack for Marner's (frank) up right?

Don't come out of the break on fire and ready to own the 2nd half of the season. Instead come out looking like a pile of dog poop.

(frank) this team for playing this way, (frank)ing embarrassing.

poop needs to get better soon.

I'd like to see how many games we lost in ot or etc after blowing a lead. This team does it so many times over and over. Can never bounce back, once the leads gone..... game over.

Some people give you a constant pass if you're born in Toronto and talk all "umm.... golly gosh..."

This'll be swept under the carpet by Leafs fans as per

Chill out guys. Marner (frank)ed up and gave up a 2 on 1, yes. He's still a good young player we're very lucky to have.
He'll learn better, just like Kadri had to.
Remember how bad he was for giveaways and fancy dipsy doodle poop when he was younger? Now he's one of our most responsible forwards.

During 5 on 5 that play might not have been such a big deal, there are more players on the ice to cover mistakes, but when you've only got 3 guys and 1 takes a skate around the net it's easy to end up with something like a 2 on 1... Marner just needs a talking to from Babcock and he'll hopefully learn from this.

Against a WC team, always go for it: that's what Marner was doing there, but c'est la vie.

Gotta get back to that uptempo game; this safe 200' game poop works when you're the Kings and you can smother a team with your size and forecheck.

Sorry Dean Fackin Morton and his crap officiating cost us the game! Call the damn interference mugging on Matthews, or even on the last play in OT the tripping dump off the faceoff or then the elbow to the face of Marner.

Lee was just the damn invisible man out there to Morton's usual crap job. This clown was a joke in the AHL and even worse in the NHL and cannot believe he is even employed let alone at the NHL level.

Leafs definitely should have had two points and played well enough to get the win in this.

- Corn_Logg

Yeah. It's definitely getting a bit worriesome. He really really needs to score a few. I would love for Babcock to split up him and Komarov for a bit and see if a winger that isn't an offensive black hole might help Kadri find his mojo.

Who’s Kadri??
Useless—-he doesn’t play feisty anymore. Whole team has to play with more heart. Zzzzzzzzzzz

This loss was solely on Mitchell Marner giving 50% as is his usual work rate.

I don't expect Leafs Nation to ever place blame on him. It's much more convenient to blame a 4th line guy, a 3rd pairing dman, or better still, blame the coach or GM.

Anything but Mitch (frank)ing Marner.

We have regulars here that disappear as soon as the little poope make a a mistake, but be(frank)ingware if Polak or Hyman slips up.

Thankfully, our management doesn't think the way people do here. His poop don't last long with Mike.

Sort it out, or move on

Or we can all overreact like winy emotional female doges every time the Leafs lose.
Who exactly is blaming our 4th liners or 3rd pairing dmen on here? I saw several people saying Marner (frank)ed up. Cause he did.

I mean really. I pointed out specifically that Marner (frank)ed up. Did you miss that? He's young. He'll learn.
Like I said in the message you just quoted, hopefully Babcock has a talk with him and explains exactly what he did wrong and what to do in that situation instead. Hopefully he plays smarter next time.

He doesn't deserve any more rope than Hyman, Nylander, Soshnikov, Bozak or Polak.

You just watch how little is made of this until tomorrow. Then watch how much is made the next time our 4th line winger/center (frank)s up.

It's quite incredible.
