I know, I was hoping the Yankees got Cole, it especially hurt with him going to Houston. But wow, The McCutchen trade. I thought the Pirates were a team on the way up and now they seem to be rebuilding once again. Its gotta be hard to be a Pirates fan.

Though in the end, I hate everything Pittsburgh. Great city, but screw them and their stupid black and yellow (its NOT GOLD) color scheme.

I don't really follow baseball, but I do rotiss, so that McCutchen trade caught my eye. Poor Pirates fans

It is tough because they didn't get much back for Cutch...return on Cole was okay. They kind of sold low on him after his last season. They have some good prospects, but some of the mature prospects just didnt materialize yet (or won't). It is also just a really tough division to win right now due to the Cards and Cubs

The guys they got should start a new core with the likes of Glasnow, Meadows, Bell, Taillon

Got the Athletic for a Xmas present this year.....so far, I like it.
