I was just a bit confused as to why he would think this.

McDonagh out, guess Simmonds won't get tossed for getting high-sticked in the face. |

Hoping the boys can keep it rolling tonight. Seems like Henrik always has a horseshoe up his ass against the Flyers at MSG.
Go flyers! |

Real classy but not unexpected considering the source typical comment from a lowbrow knuckle dragging loser |

Don't take the comments made by that poster to be indicative of all Rangers fans from Long Island.
Your team is definitely on the rise and should be really competitive soon.
To say this stretch has been frustrating would be an understatement. A change needs to happen to the Rangers that shakes them to the core. Maybe losing tonight in lazy fashion like the last few games will accomplish that. AV needs to go but there is plenty of blame to be placed on the players. They are simply not getting it done.
I think that you guys take this game because this team does not appear to be waking up anytime soon.

Thanks, always happy to discuss hockey with fans from other teams that don't come in here and act like tools. Your team has had a nice run, but yeah, AV does need to go. Do you think it's time for the Rangers to go into more of a rebuild mode and look to move some vets? |

Frost is 31 and Myers is 43 on Pronman's latest top 50 prospects. He has Hart #2 behind Samsonov.

I'm not sure. It would be a hard sell in this market to go through a true rebuild. They have shown in recent years to be able to obtain young talent without having high draft picks. Whether that is through trades or poaching collegiate players after they become free agents from not signing.
That being said, obtaining high end (elite) talent this way does not typically happen. They have no true game breakers aside from Lundqvist at this point and he's 36. A team of really good players still seem to falter against a team with that elite center and/or elite defenseman.
Not sure where they are going to go from here. I also know that anything can happen if they figure it out. But it doesn't look good. |

they were fallin for dahlin, then shot up to 2nd in the metro. They have no depth and injuries to the actual good players hurt. I suspect they will play better again when the guys get back and will obviously be in the mix for the metro.
As for the rebuild, well they already started trying. Chytil and Andersson look like solid prospects |

Actually pretty excited about those two. Would be nice to have players in the system like them a few years ago. |

It is tough to rebuild and still stay competitive. The Flyers have been trying to do the same thing. So far, it seems to be slowly working. They've done a nice job with some mid to low 1st round picks and of course, getting lucky and landing the #2 pick last year certainly helped. Also, the Devils taking Zacha over Provorov in the 2015 draft was just icing on the cake.

Your team has some players to be envious of for sure. How is Gostisbehere coming along? |
