Horrible game. Turned it off after Marky muffin'd the second goal in. Good to see they won in OT but man this club is hard to watch at times.

I only watched the highlights (posted in the blog), but a one timer from the slot, when both d-men are in the corner, both extremely soft in their “battle” doesn’t strike me as a soft goal.

About LE when a team goes thru as many injuries & all the line juggling who could fit in?

Our 1st & 3rd C get injured and that is something any team cannot handle.

All the focus on his contract & point production & he is resilient & ppl will harp only about its all on him & ignore all the bad luck etc.

If JB thinks they can still play then so do I. We’ll see what he thinks.

I think we’ve both said all along that he’ll improve as the team does. He’s an elite complementary player. Not a guy who can carry 3rd liners but a guy who can make a legit scoring line better.

Plus the guy never seems to mope, still plays hard in all 3 zones and doesn’t seem like the type to mail it in after signing a big contracts.

His best in Vancouver is still to come.

Very true.

He is a 3rd wheel who doesn’t need the puck only the service & chance to clean up.
Problem is we need playmajers for our finishers & he does not drive the play nor ever has. Complinentary player he is & always gas been. He is not miscast but an easy scape goat for those who don’t get it.
