Guess Hayes is out again tomorrow, Holland called up, my guess is Buchnevich gets made the scape goat again, if this assumption is true I’m 100000% not watching another game this season
Also the Pack were outshot 26-2 in the 2nd period this afternoon, safe to say the “system” is a failure anywhere you apply it, more indictments on AV IMO - KreiderBomb
Going to let your kids watch? |

And that speaks volumes about the rest of the guys on the team. The fact he went out there and threw a big hit a shift after Staal got hit then fought a guy 3 inches taller and 30+ lbs heavier and it provided nothing shows the rest of the team is a bunch of gutless overpaid spineless pansy’s. - nyrangers9479
It just goes to show fighting has no impact on the games. |

Honestly I would scratch anyone on the team outside of Hank right now. What difference would it make?
Maybe Grabner can stay
Need to send some type of message |

I correlates directly to our guy getting beat up to horrible defensive coverage |

I'm tired of this poop , team gets softer every (frank)ing year . Watched this poop out west when AV was coaching the west . Playing mind games with a few but others are given a pass . AV record is helped greatly by above average goaltending . Can't or won't adjust , the worst breakout in the league .stupid flip pass or long stretch pass . Takes a lot to turn me off the team since I've seen a lot of poop shows by the rangers since 64 but management and coaching have done it . |

I agree Jan, as I said yesterday or right after Saturday's debacle, when it appeared more than ever before here, that the players have tuned out A.V. & his assistants in Arniel & Ruff. That's why all MUST GO, as a last futile attempt to salvage this season, should Gorton, Sather, & in chief, the only "King" here above Hank in James Dolan, do not wish to be sellers. The latter one especially so, with his other & #1 MSG co-tenant, Knicks, once again midway through, appearing to likely miss yet another postseason.
Otherwise, it will be impossible for GM, Jeff Gorton to improve this roster in drastic ways by the Feb. 26th trade deadline. He has yet even done so to that equal extent since taking over the reign, due greatly to assuming the cap mess which Sather had left him. So I feel Gorton will ride out the remainder of the season, at which point prior to any off season move made, it will be decided immediately if he will remain at the helm. However, this current coaching staff should not have any further say in any player trades, should management in contrary, retain them through the season's end.
As a result of his repeated shuffling of his players, (including when injury free), A.V. is preventing them from ever becoming properly cohesive with each other not only game playing wise, BUT ESPECIALLY FIRST, MENTALLY IN GAME THINKING WISE. That's depicted by their repeated amount of missed zone coverage by both the forwards & d'men, contributing to their high number of shot attempts plus SOG both allowed. But there is also his singling out of some players at various times in being his whipping boys.
All that may be why Zucc said after their rout suffered on Saturday, (in key but not exact words), "We played a "DUMB" game, but it wasn't like the players weren't trying hard out there". So are the players listening to A.V. and his assistants at all, plus WANTING to play for him? Or is it that due to his ways in handling them, have the players tuned him out completely for real? It can't be blamed equally on both, or else then .500% winning hockey will be the norm for the extended future. Someone now in management must decide who must take the bigger hit by answering those questions, & in doing so at the appropriate time up to once their season ends at theeeee latest. |

I have no idea, seems to me like they're kind of grasping at straws at this point calling Holland up. But sending Boo down doesn't make sense to me either.
Regarding that quote in Swedish by Hank in the last blog, has anyone confirmed that he really said that? If he did... wow. |

He hasn't been real noticeable, I don't think him not being here is going to make a difference to be honest. |
