By the numbers yeah. Numbers don't always tell the entire story.
- manvanfan

No I get that. But the whole story with Gaudette is he good two way guy who plays wing or center and would be a great 3rd or 4th liner for a team who can chip in with some goals.

Schneider is a top 5 goalie in this league. Demko is probably twice as good as both goalies we have now

I think Demkos numbers with the dumpster fire that is Utica this year are just fine

I wouldn't trade tanev for a teams third best forward or a 25 to 31 ov pick. The writer is on crack.
- Pres.cup

Im all for trading Tanev, I actually want to so we can speed up the rebuild of the back end but I would rather let him walk as a UFA then take that back as a return.

I agree.... not saying much though.

Also Schneider first year of call ups were not that impressive.... two years from NIW he should be good in the nhl

I don't mind trading Tanev IF it comes with a 1st round pick. A right shot D (not of the same quality of Tanev) and a prospect.

You mustve missed it the other day but it was decided by a few posters (based on opinion) that Demko needs a minimum of at least 1-2 more years in the AHL before joining the team. And even then the Defense must be completely fixed ohhh AND they don't want him being a backup once he arrives, apparently thats a waste of development....

I would do it with a third for Foote and a first from Tampa, conditional picks perhaps.

I'd have to wait to ask the wifey. She won't be home till 11. No more breaks for her.

Did the doctor say pelvic rest or suggest it?

Sister in law is pregnant, had some normal tests done and they came back a false positive for (something I don't remember). Anywho, she had to come to Winnipeg and get more tests done to see if the child was at risk for autism. Came back negative but still.

Yah i must have missed it. I dont care how long a prospect needs in the minors, if they deserve it and can excel in the pros, im all for them staying. Boeser playing in utica right now would be counter productive so no unwritten rule imo.

So Tanev, 3rd for Foote, 1st and conditional?

Foote was 15OA and is now looking pretty good. I doubt you can get 2 Firsts for Tanev.

tanev for Foote
Conditions being
Third round playing 50 percent
Canucks get a third
Tampa gets to the final canucks get a second
Tampa wins the cup canucks get a first and give up a third.

So if Tampa wins the cup they get a third and the canucks get a first.

Wife just came home. She says your going to be using your hand for the next while. If that vien tears the baby will die in minutes. Worse, GF could die also.

Doctor can take another look in Feb to see if anything has changed.

Id say for Hajek and Foote with a conditional 1st if they make the finals and we also take a cap dump of their choosing.

I'm all for him fighting for the back up position in the fall.

Once his foot is in the door, he may even give Markstrom a run for his money.

Yeah. Consider Hamonic got a 1st and 2-2nds. If it's a late first, I would expect at least two prospects in the teams top 10. or top 5 prospect and another 2nd.

I know.

During the off season. TDL is different and Tanev would be the hottest commodity on the market unless OEL became available. He could be worth a kings ransom at this point.

I agree. I think he is exactly what Tampa is missing. Put him out there with Hedman and you probably have one of the top pairings in the NHL. I know its 90% Hedman but at least Tanev would compliment him nicely.

I am keeping an eye on him 3 pts tonight . 5 goals is good for a team that doesn't score

I actually thought Weirchioch had a good camp too. Would love to see someone step up and replace Edler
