I think the Leafs may need to add a bit, like some other picks or a prospect.

But I think those two players and the 1st being the major pieces makes sense.

Damian Cox article suggesting Leafs have no chance to win this year is assinine, everyone in playoffs have a chance, that being said, i would be against any move that trades away picks, or any of our top prospects. Trading Bozak, or JVR would need a roster player coming back, if we could get a defensman to replace Polak, do it. Go Leafs Go

(frank) Lou if he makes that trade. Absolutely no justifiable reason to trade one of our top D prospects (best on the Marlies last year) for Gudbranson. Gudbranson is a younger, bigger version of Polak. Not worth it at all.

Nielsen was in no way the best d prospect on the marlies last year.

Good offensive skills but is quite horrible in his own end. He's a project prospect.

Dermott scored 5 goals, 24 points and was +9 last year.

They're both in the same category, along with Liljegren as top prospects and in no way expendable especially for a sack of poop like Gudbranson.

Read the Athletic, they actually watch marlies games and break them down and don't base players off of HockeyDB.

Nielson has really struggled defensively a lot since he's been on the Marlies. Offense has dipped this year.
