I was kidding about the 4th. But seriously he is gawd awful. Ive said it for a long time now, and if botts resigns him in any capacity i will lose all faith in his ability to evaluate talent at that position.
A 2nd would be a gift, and in that case i will have renewed faith in his ability to swing a trade.

But he’s big
So when he’s in the right position, he makes a lot of saves
That’s why his numbers are decent

We know Trouba is better because relative to his "by far better players around him" hes had better numbers for long period of time. Ristolainen, even through context, has worse defensive numbers.

This is where I don't like stats. Too many leaps of logic. Relative to his team means (frank) all unless you're McDavid, Eichel, Matthews... One player, even a good one, isn't enough to stem the poop tide.

And why would Winnipeg do the deal? It's lateral at best and backwards at worst. Value is not value, 3 picks at 211 or later do not equal the 10th overall pick. Yet 3 picks at 211+ have the same "total value" as the 10th in terms of being a top 6 F, top 4 D, or a starting goalie. I want to be the team getting the best player if it's an "even" trade.
