I agree, I wanted them to run that line a little longer. With the current team I'd go back to that combo.

Their was just something so simply and oddly tenaciously successful about Sheary-Sheahan-Hornqvist. Seemed like they created so much in such a short period of time
I am fully willing to bring up McKegg or something so that we could roll this line again and get Guentzel back with Geno and Phil. I don’t think Hagelin can sustain this type of play

I actually thought the 3rd line looked very good today. Jake looked more comfortable at center this game and seemed to generate more chances.

It's a nice line also because most people know Sheary and Hornqvist can be valuable depth scorers yet don't want them on the top 2 lines. So it's a nice way to use them.

Yeah, that opinion sucked. Think he does a good job working the beat and gathering facts, but he better stay away from being a columnist.

I'm glad he's looking good at center. But I'd rather just use him there as an injury replacement, especially if Malkin or Crosby go down and they need a top 6 guy. I'd rather have him back at wing.

Detroit looked bad pretty much all around today except for Howard who played fine. The other games with Jake in the middle left me thinking he was either “fine” or “not good” which he’s usually effective every game at wing whether it’s a good team or not. I’d rather put players in positions where they’ll consistently succeed
