Unfortunate we don't have Murray around and we'll either have to play Jarry back to back or play an unproven Casey DeSmith. - Victoro311
I'm guessing they go with Jarry since it's a night game and they've had a lot of rest. |

I agree with Rino, I thought Kessel/Sheahan was a bad combo. On the flip side, I thought Sheary-Shea-Hornqvist had some really strong spurts this season |

I agree, I wanted them to run that line a little longer. With the current team I'd go back to that combo. |

Maybe that's what I'm remembering. I know there was some combo involving Sheahan and Sheary that I really liked. |

Is that the first time they've ever used a "Three Headed Monster" graphic? I like it. A lot. - Victoro311
Haha I haven't heard that since we had Staal |

For whatever it's worth, Buffalo and the Hawks had a scout each at the game today. Hawk play the Wings tomorrow, but Buff being here is interesting.

Alright, Buffalo. Fine. As you can see from tonight's game, Hagelin is a pretty critical player for our success, but I guess we can part ways with him for Kane... |

Mackey just tweeted between Malkin, Crosby, and Kessel they have 10 goals and 28 points the last 5 games. Pretty, pretty, good. - Tojo.
Yeah and he's the same dummy that said to trade Kessel if Sprong is the real deal. |

There's a reason why Yohe went to the Athletic and Mackey went to the Post-Gazette after they got sick of DK's poop |

Yeah.... That is a remarkably dumb idea. I heard somebody else making the same point and couldn't believe it. As if you wouldn't want to have 2 great goal scorers on your team. |

Their was just something so simply and oddly tenaciously successful about Sheary-Sheahan-Hornqvist. Seemed like they created so much in such a short period of time
I am fully willing to bring up McKegg or something so that we could roll this line again and get Guentzel back with Geno and Phil. I don’t think Hagelin can sustain this type of play |

I actually thought the 3rd line looked very good today. Jake looked more comfortable at center this game and seemed to generate more chances. |

It's a nice line also because most people know Sheary and Hornqvist can be valuable depth scorers yet don't want them on the top 2 lines. So it's a nice way to use them. |

Yeah, that opinion sucked. Think he does a good job working the beat and gathering facts, but he better stay away from being a columnist. |

I'm glad he's looking good at center. But I'd rather just use him there as an injury replacement, especially if Malkin or Crosby go down and they need a top 6 guy. I'd rather have him back at wing. |

I realise it's hard to keep up a conversation with adults, especially when you can't really answer the questions being asked - frustrating! |

Detroit looked bad pretty much all around today except for Howard who played fine. The other games with Jake in the middle left me thinking he was either “fine” or “not good” which he’s usually effective every game at wing whether it’s a good team or not. I’d rather put players in positions where they’ll consistently succeed |
