I watched that and just listened to his post-game interview. Right now, he is one of the view with heart and guts and desire. The remainder of the comments to me are lip-service. He truly feels the burden of being a leader and is trying to act in that manner.

That's why they can never entertain the thought of ever trading Hank, unless he were to demand a trade, but which he will never do in not wanting to leave N.Y., even if it gave him a much greater chance at winning a Cup elsewhere.
He is their only player that cares and wants to win everyday, including against his own teammates at practice. The saddest part is that Hank is also the closest one they have that has CAPTAIN like leadership qualities, depicting another asset that was lost after both, having been forced to trade Stepan, (due also to his NTC kicking in this season), to create the cap space dollars to sign Shatty, in addition to buying out Girardi last summer.
Other than in goal with Hank, their biggest spark for them on the ice at any time is Grabner, who I feel should be offered a 3 or 4 year deal, and not be traded, even if they become official sellers.
