if the Rangers use a first round pick on a center that only has 6 goals in the QMJHL this year I will not like that pick either

why is this kid ranked so highly

- jimbo83

Granted exceptional status in the Q. Great skater.

Edit: Wait...nevermind. Idk anymore.

Is this draft considered deep?

I've never heard of Blacksheep Burton. I'd say go Richard Burton, at least he was married to Elizabeth Taylor.

Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor were married to eachother. Twice actually. Look it up. You'll see.

I don't think we could plummet to a top 5 pick in the 2nd half, my guess is we will pick in the teens, if so I like Isac Lundstrom, at least from what I saw out of some of those players in the Worlds I think he stood out the most, hope we get Martin Kaut in the 2nd round

AV said Hayes is less than 50/50 to play tomorrow against the Islanders. #NYR

Zipay saying this though:

Steve Zipay@stevezipay
AV: If Hayes can't play, Miller probably back at center. Coach thought Hayes, who skated yesterday, would be ready

As long as Fast is on the 1st and Carey is on the 2nd while we struggle to score goals I’m good with putting our 3rd leading scorer on the 4th line.

AV even hates Quickie now. Down to the 2nd line
Lines at practice: 10-93-36; 61-13-17; 40-51-95; 26-24-89
D: 27-55, 76-22, 18-47

I would obviously take Buch off the 4th line, but if he’s not doing that I would give Letteri a shot with Hayes and Nash, kid loves to shoot the puck

Corrected and what should be the combinations if Hayes is out:
Buchnevich-Zibanejad-Zuccarello, Nash-Miller-Vesey, Grabner-Nieves-Fast, Carey-Desharnais-Lettieri; McDonagh-Shattenkirk, Skjei-Smith, Staal-Kampfer (Holden 7th)

I’d love to have one of those ahole Takchuk kids on the team. They bring something we’re lacking big time

I like the D combos, we need to get Smith going. Not sure how Shatty is going to do on the top pair though, Tommy Wingles of all people beat him 1 on 1.

Boy did we dodge a billet with Callahan, 34 games 1 goal on a team that all they do is score goals.

As long as he is ok with losing. One guy who doesn't like losing is plenty for this team.

Skjei Smith were great together last year, trying to spark that chemistry again. I’m just as confused as you as to why Shattenkirk isn’t scratched also.
