But by playing 17 more games wouldn't you sell because the 9 seed has a chance to get to more wins over the 17 games th Rangers have spotted them?
- tomburton99

I would, but not sure Rangers management would.

The conversation is to general. Give me an idea of the type of player/prospect/pick you would trade him for

how did you feel about the Leetch trade?
- jimbo83

Was it the fact that they traded Leetch or the manner in which they did it for you?

I was numb to only knowing losing as young Rangers fan. They havn't won anything meaningfull in 24 years. But let's remember the good times.

I wish we threw that Eastern Conference trophy in 2014 and that 2015 President's trophy right into the stands

Why use the words "anything meaningful"? Just say the Stanley Cup. I am fine with you saying that's the only thing that matters, but when you mean Stanley Cup, just say Stanley Cup.

I have no problem with making that type of trade. But when you are trading a franchise icon, you need to do it with a lot more respect than that.

some of the most exciting hockey I have ever seen this franchise play in those two years, not winning it all doesn't take away from some of the great moments

I've never heard of Blacksheep Burton. I'd say go Richard Burton, at least he was married to Elizabeth Taylor.

They're fond for a certain niche of people. Outside of that group, meaningless.

I would trade Nash as well for a 1st. McD for Takchuk+. Miller+ for Manson/Hamilton/Dumba/Trouba etc etc Holden for a 3rd/4th

Kreider Zib Buch
Takchuk Chytil Zucc
Andersson Hayes Grabner

Skjei Manson/Trouba/Hamilton/Dumba etc
Staal poop-enkirk
Smith Kampfer.

We can all dream right?

Edit:This would be next years lineup with Chytil/Andersson

If I could answer that I would. I'm just waiting on the trades that should be coming down the pipeline soon.

I think that lineup next year would miss the playoffs, but not necessarily saying that missing the playoffs next year is the worst thing.

I think Nash for a 1st is a reasonable expectation.

I think the + in a deal with Miller to bring in a stud defensemen would probably have to be a pretty significant plus.

I haven't seen much of Keith's kid yet, so not sure how much I value him yet, if I am being honest.

so, when MSL scored the overtime winner in game 5 of the ECF you just sat there stone faced, after all, it didn't win the Cup

when Stepan eliminated Washington in game 7 to make it to the 2015 ECF, you yawned?

or, were you excited?

Holy (frank) are the kids idiots, and if they're not before eating laundry detergent, they certainly will be a few pods short of a laundry load after.
