McDavid and Draisaitl will be $21m starting next season and Edmonton is not good at all this season. I am not comparing the players directly, just saying that the price for your top 2 centers is going up. I am happy with the two we have now and would not trade ROR at this time. Maybe after next season if we have somebody ready to step in, but we don't have that person yet.

The risto hate is pretty suprising .

He's a tough guy to play against with a chip on his shoulder. Always taking care of the front of the net, clearing out opponents.

He's a great offensive defenseman. If our power play actually had the same system as last year, risto would be putting up big stats

He's also a homegrown talent that eats up minutes.

If we trade him who is going to cover for him?

Risto is a mess because every other game he’s paired with a different guy. You would be too.

I know if the guy I work with on a Saturday takes off, I’m out of rhythm all night long. He’s consistently played with garbage partners.
