Man i wanted to see a shutout for ullmark there.
I know its only one game but i dont think he was out of position more than one or two times all game. Centered over his torso woth the sabres logo facing the puck all game. Man is that refreshing to see.
Lehner sucks.

And

If guhle doesnt finish the season out with the big club it will be a sure fire tank move by botts. Im torn on that one.

It wasn't Jack that challenged Kane at practice....

Time for Falk to shine.

Okay wanted to wait to see how the end played out but Guhle is the best offensive d-man on this team already, it not even close.
Hope he can develop the d zone game to match.... def a keeper.

Nice solid game by ullmark, no panic to his game, gave up a couple rebounds but not back, very sound positionally. Another keeper.

I want them both back in Rochester though... :0)

as soon as he learns to catch the puck without bobbling it he'll make a pretty good starter

Nice summary of Ullmarks game. So controlled in there. I'd still like to see himself and Guhle go back down full of confidence and try win something with Roch.

That is the truth, he was all over the place and heading to the net.

I love it.

I liked how Rayzor said that Risto appeared to have more energy because someone was carrying someone else from the blue line was generating offense.

Interesting to see if that plays out.

ullmark probably gets first star on nhl morning shows for that performance
- homiedclown

I like how he uses the blocker to knock the puck out of play or around the net. also when he stops play when the team is under pressure unlike lehner.

That glove stop in the 2nd was pretty nice.... and he had to go get it, it wasn’t shot into the glove.

I agree feel really good about him going forward ( next year).

Now risto needs to learn how to not just ice the puck all the damn time.
Jesus christ its like a broken record with him.
I just realized thats probably why he gets so much ice time... When you arent allowed to make a change you are always on the ice.

The game was in the bag because Pouliot scored 9-0-1 with him on the scoresheet 2-24-8 when he isn't, still my favorite running stat of the year

Haha, ya that was great. I think letting Carrier go to Vegas as the owed favour was the right move.
