My family had season tix from 68-69 until the late 90s. At that point, they were just too expensive.

I did not have fun watching that game. But nobody in the USSR did. 😜

That Soviet team was loaded with talent, but they had never experienced a team like the Broad Street Bullies on an NHL sized rink. They were intimidated before the opening faceoff.

I care as much about the all star game as I do for watching paint dry.

Lol. In seriousness though I would trade marner for a top defenseman. Marner for sanheim before he becomes a bust ?

the Lindros trade comparison is silly because that trade was made in the non cap era where having to balance out the cap didn't apply

I haven't felt this love for Giroux since being nominated for the Hart trophy four years ago. I respect him even more than I ever did because HE'S BACK! Most importantly he doesn't look tired.

Team Canada. I am Canadian. I'm probably gonna watch for Max Talbot, which is weird to say because I HATED this guy more than any Penguin as a Penguin but he was also a hell of a Flyer.

I thought the Lindros haul was pretty great at the time but in comparison to the Pronger trade going the other way, the hockey world has gone crazy. We pretty much gave away three first rounders in a row and a top six forward in his prime for Chris Pronger.

Thank the current collective bargaining agreement.

The league is likely doing what they have to do to fend off future concussion lawsuits.
The players asked for it and they got it.

The bye week was a good idea. Right after Xmas break and right before the asg = bad idea.

Btw they are saying domi from Arizona may be available as well. Now I had lukewarm interest in duclair but I would be on all about getting domi
