I get only one forward making the team but I am really annoyed at Letang over Ghost/Provorov and a few others on other teams honestly. when was the last time Letang was a legit all-star? meh
really cool seeing how much Lindros is involved in the alumni team now. I'm so glad all sides put aside the past. Lindros was one of the best players in team history. - nastyflyergirl
Yes he was. And one of the best ever in the league. Glad he's in the hhof and I can't wait to see his number retired. So happy! Prob my second favourite player all time. |

He went from playing 19:23 every night he was healthy in Philly, to playing 17:06 for the Pens in the regular season, and then playing only three out of their 25 playoff games at 15:03. - Feanor
but the three games were in the finals so he should have his name on there |

Or don't have the AS game and don't have bye weeks. Instead set the schedule so that there are fewer back-to-backs in the schedule. - Scoob
I think the players like the bye week so I expect it to stay.

Brandon Manning, Philadelphia Flyers: Going to head up to Vermont. Me and my girlfriend, and Valtteri [Filppula, and his wife] is going up there too. I think we'll do some dogsledding and be in the lodge. Live the ski life a little bit. It's a mountain I've never been to."
Sean Couturier, Philadelphia Flyers: "I'm going back home [to Drummondville, Quebec]. Building a house right now and see how that's going. Relax, recharge the batteries, come back better." |

So no one caught on the ASG isn't and had never been about who is having a good season? It's just who people want to watch play.
Ghost should be out there because the 3 on 3 game is tailored to his style. |

So basically, we are just an avalanche away from Sanheim getting back in the lineup and Vecchione getting called up? - BiggE

And Al Iafrate coming out with that terrible skullet and ripping those slapshots. God damn his hair made me physically uncomfortable.
- MBFlyerfan
Ovi needed a crazy hat and all sorts of nonsense for his skills competition.
All Al Iafrate needed was the power of his skullet.

I care as much about the all star game as I do for watching paint dry. - BiggE
I can honestly say I didn't watch 1 second of the ASG last year. I did check out the highlights to see Simmer though, pretty cool he got the MVP back in LA. |

Al Iafrate was actually scarier off the ice than he was on it. He could be a mean dude. |

Morin has been injured he needs to get healthy. I want to see vecchione and lindblom. Veccs for filp and lindblom for Weise. Than tk weal continue to progress their recently solid play and Patrick continues to adjust and I think we will have a good 2nd half. |

Sandstrom played last night and got 1st star
Swedish to English translating is also amazing
Failed goalkeeper Felix Sandström responded, among other things, to a sweaty handshake save, but so many chances did not create the home team in the even match. |

Morin is practicing for past couple days and it appears as of what is being said that he will be cleared to play this weekend. |

I'm just going to believe that nothing is lost in translation, and that this is just how Swedish people talk. I mean, who doesn't have to bail his team out with a sweaty handshake save from time to time? |

I guess rumors of his season ending injury have been greatly exaggerated |

Roman Cechmanek was the king of the sweaty handshake save |

1 of only 6 teams who hasn't gone yet. But because of Lincoln financial field and Philadelphia agreement it has to be an away game so we still get 8 home. |
