I see what u did there, Pachs, but missthenords (great name btw) has a point about Hajt. Our D has been so bad that you gotta start looking at everyone in the system for answers, and not just the players. I was hoping Housley would be a lighting-in-a-bottle hire and have some sexy schemes that would get this team out of the basement, but it appears we got a staff that's over their heads.

same for the bills in many ways

how many bills fans would take chucky for the next 10 years?

how many sabre fans would take lindy back for the next 5 years

for an owner that says money is no issue

serious question as I turned the game off last night halfway through it

I am a fan disgusted and impatient with the lack of results for the last 10 years

new owner says money is no issue anymore

pegula has owned the sabres for 7 years now, and shows no signs of having a clue

w/o hiring a hockey czar to run this thing, what can the sabres do to turn this around because the joke is no longer funny

Honestly, they don’t.

Sabres have stable ownership and can afford to retain talent.

Coyotes are a franking train wreck. Owner teetering on bankruptcy, no arena, no franking hope of a new arena, young guns demanding trades, no hope in sight.

I don’t care if they have a great talent pipeline right now - it will never fully bear fruit.

This has gotten us no where. The sabres best years came when we had an owner that didnt want to spend anything. Money doesnt solve everything. The sabres are a prime example of this.

Wait for better players to be drafted

Move out dead weight

Wait

Remember none of this matters and use hockey as a distraction from the inevitable heat death of the universe

aside from the picture

that doesn't get me excited

pegula could lose the base of the fans real quick if things are the same next season

and I feel it could get worse and we have yet to see the bottom

bylsma and rexie weren't exactly cheap...having said that, i'm still of the opinion that both teams need an experience, and highly respected operations man to guide the hockey departemt...word on the street is that the Pegula's don't want to lose power

I hate to say this, but it may start with another coaching staff sometime next season...I think botts is good right now although curiously, we haven't heard much from him this season

49ers fan. last few years miserable. Hired a rookie coach. Hired a non-management experienced GM. Lose whack load of games, contended in many except for game 1 vs Panthers. Cleaned out some cancers (Robinson) and got rid of a vet (Bowman). Positive culture, sense of optimism. Then 1 trade, go undefeated and tremendous sense of optimism, future looks bright.

Sabres. Rookie coach. New GM but experienced in assistant role, with a winning organization. Pre-season, sense of optimism in going to play an up tempo game. Cautious optimism on possibly contending for the last playoff spot. And here we are. Ain't no 1 player able to come in here and make a difference. Going to take time as not as easy to find players and development a lengthier process. Think it's going to be a rough few more years unfortunately.

serious question

right now, which of the other 30 teams, would you take buffalo over for the next 5 years?

detroit
sens
nucks

that's all I got

- homiedclown

Eichel
Risto
Casey
Guhle
This year's first
Nylander potential -reaching

Ror and kane's trade value.

Better than any teams from 20-31.

Wouldn't trade team for team with any of them
