I am pretty sure they changed that rule a year or two ago. I think if a team claims him they are on the hook for the full salary.

My issue is, we want a 1st for Kane, well our 2nd will be like a very late 1st (if we keep losing, so it will be). That is the kind of pick Botterrill wants to keep around.

But on the other hand, Noah is someone that could help this team. Not sure he is worth both players, considering I dont know what other teams are offering for Reinhart.
