Jack Eichel just broke his stick on the bench and told the skaters to grow up or get the hell out of Buffalo"

This team or lack there of "Team" is so frustrating. There is absolutely no reason that this team plays the way it does. I get that there is a lack of talent but talent has nothing to do with Heart and Determination, intangibles. This team has NO heart at all. It is franking embarrassing to be a Sabres fan..

From the few Sabres games I've seen this year, I noticed it is incredibly easy on opponents entering their zone...not sure if its system or players but that's gotta tighten up...Maybe trade Middlestadt to the Yotes for some much needed grit?

The Sabres D in their defensive zone are a mess, not covering guys, banging into each, always out of position and we are all aware of this. So herein lies the question,
is Chris Hajt responsible for this and why hasn't there been any improvement at all.
What is it that makes him so uniquely qualified to coach in NHL? I find it hard to believe that there wasn't any better qualified candidates then him to coach. I like the rest of us are totally frustrated and ashamed of the product on the ice and I don't see it getting any better, anytime soon. Rant over.

If you do trade Kane, trade him to the Rangers. So he can poison that team too.

"We started to get a little more offensively, but the big thing was you need a little more excitement in the d-zone. We didn't have enough energy there or excitement to just get the puck in. If there are no more questions, I need to get a few shots and lap dances in before I go home to my child and baby mama"

I know you guys are hurting emotionally right now, and therefore can’t really appreciate the small things the Sabres are doing correctly this season.

So please take solace in the words of this humble neutral observer:

I truly believe you guys can finish in 30th place - a full three points ahead of the Coyotes.

I see what u did there, Pachs, but missthenords (great name btw) has a point about Hajt. Our D has been so bad that you gotta start looking at everyone in the system for answers, and not just the players. I was hoping Housley would be a lighting-in-a-bottle hire and have some sexy schemes that would get this team out of the basement, but it appears we got a staff that's over their heads.

Honestly, they don’t.

Sabres have stable ownership and can afford to retain talent.

Coyotes are a franking train wreck. Owner teetering on bankruptcy, no arena, no franking hope of a new arena, young guns demanding trades, no hope in sight.

I don’t care if they have a great talent pipeline right now - it will never fully bear fruit.
