Beautiful thing is, IF reports of 4 - 6 weeks is accurate, he just blew the opportunity (albeit minuscule) for the Sabres to somehow unload him...with reduced salary and a cheep throw-in as necessary.

Looks like he now becomes a buyout candidate instead of a trade candidate
Edit: this should spur JBotts into action one would think.

How about retirement home candidate?

It's crazy how many women were in love with him.

He's one goofy looking dude.

I guess when you're the lead singer of one of the biggest bands in the world, looks can fall further down the list.

He's no Steven Tyler that's for sure haha

Oh I don’t think he’s going to be elite I see your point

I see him as the David Backes type of Level not at a Corey Perry Or stamkos type goal score I do see Z as that

Yea dont get me wrong I would be very happy with Tkachuck. Just not at 1,2 or 3. If im picking top 3 i want top line elite talent.

Is there any way we can pry Pacioretty out of Montreal with O'reilly +?
- Shadman306

Better off trying to grab Galchenyuk

OK, make the Reinhart trade, let's get Noah!

"Stick to what works for us. That's what I think all of us are trying to figure out. Why don't we stick to that? As soon as we play an east-west game, it comes right back at us. When we chip and support and do what we're told, we're in games."

"It's tough. As a group, I think we all need to work on our play in our own zone, breaking the puck out as a unit, helping our goalies out. I think we're just giving up too much right now. All four lines right now, all defense and both goalies probably want to get better."

"I think that's why in the situation we're in. We have to find that consistent effort on both ends of the puck. Wh3en we don't have it, we have to defend better. When we do have it, we have to consistently get the puck in and be heavy."

SPORTSNET: Elliotte Friedman reports New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson is “starting to creep out there” in the rumor mill. With defensemen Johnny Boychuk and Calvin de Haan sidelined, the Isles need blueline help. Friedman believes there will be interest in Nelson. He also wonders if the Isles might take a look at Buffalo Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner.

Would cost more then Reinhart and I highly doubt the Canes would move him. I'm sure Falk would go before him.

Bogo has value, I know it sounds strange but he does. His contract falls right where it should be at 4.5-5.5 for a D man like him only problem is, he has to long left on the deal. He could be moved but that looks to be an offseason move or a draft day move.

I hear you. But I ask about it and see where that takes you. Doubt it gets done, cause it might be Reinhart and a 2nd (maybe more) and I dont think Botterill wants to give up picks right now.
