The only thing that would make happy is if they change the lottery system back I would be happy with the second overall pick
But maybe we will finally win the draft lottery but I just really don’t see it lol |

Il be fine with Svechnikov/Zadina tbh
As much as we need defense, I could argue we need offense/elite forwards more |

I'll take it a step further and say in the very least they'd be in the playoff hunt this year - Michael Pachla
People are putting way too much emphasis on coaching.
What exactly would be different under Babcock?

Hearing from Botts or hell even Pegula since the football season is over would be nice. I feel like we're all on a sinking ship. trust the process (said the Canadian way, pro-sess) |

I am not either... Because i didnt have any faith in him to begin with.
We absolutely dont have the horses, but whats he going to do if and when we do? Continue to just stand there chewing his gum? Its a perfect time for him to get animated, freak out, throw something, get ejected from a game or two, anything to make me give a (frank) at this point and demand some respect. I just dont see it, but you are correct it really doesnt matter who is at the helm with this group its still a going to be a poop show for now. - TheHank
I don't know if that's 100% true as good coaches can make a difference...however, this team does have some serious holes |

serious question as I turned the game off last night halfway through it
I am a fan disgusted and impatient with the lack of results for the last 10 years
new owner says money is no issue anymore
pegula has owned the sabres for 7 years now, and shows no signs of having a clue
w/o hiring a hockey czar to run this thing, what can the sabres do to turn this around because the joke is no longer funny - homiedclown

You know he just coached a team to a last place finish 2 years ago
I mean, this is the same exact stuff we said when under Bylsma |

Of course they can/do.
Thats why it baffles me how he can be so flat lined while we are getting our poop pushed in all the time. |

Hockey Bag was probably on Clearance at a thrift store. NCAA doesn't pay so players are broke
ran out of Black Garbage bags is my guess

Babcock gets criticized for doing the same thing every other coach does.
Playing Leo Komarov over Matthews in OT
Playing Polak over guys like Carrick
Playing Matt Martin

I believe they'd be a better team beginning with the respect factor...I'd go as far to say that i think they'd be a better team under Gallant, who seems to be able to coach to a team's strengths...and I think ted Nolan would get more out of this bunch than Housley is and Bylsma did...
I think there are times when too much emphasis is on placed on players and not enough on respect for, and motivation by, the coaching staff |

that was his m.o. during his playing days...phil Housley was a skilled, offensive-minded defenseman who let others do the dirty work...hell, he even had others play defense while he was moved to the wing |
